Popular Wiltshire pub goes on sale

The Angel Inn, a Grade II listed pub and guest house in Heytesbury, near Warminster, which is popular with both local residents and tourists, has gone on sale.
Licensed property specialist, James A Baker, has been appointed by pub retailer and brewer, Greene King, to the market the premises, which has a guide price of £450,000 plus VAT.
The pub’s ground floor consists of an open plan bar with lounge area for around 30 people, as well as a restaurant for up to 50 diners. Meanwhile, the first floor has five en-suite rooms for guests, along with private accommodation.
Externally there’s an enclosed patio area for up to 20 people, along with a car park.
James A Baker surveyor, Charlie Noad, said: “We are excited to present the sale of The Angel Inn in Heytesbury. The sale offers a great opportunity to acquire the freehold of a characterful Grade II listed building in a charming village setting. The building has a tremendous amount of scope for existing use as a destination pub with five en-suite letting rooms but also has potential for change of use subject to the necessary permissions”.
