Historic pub goes on market

In case you missed it, our Leeds office is selling the freehold of Marquis of Granby in Warrington at a guide price of £265,000 plus VAT. The tudor style, historic watering hole is believed to have been named in honour of the Seven Years War hero Lieutenant General John Manners. After the war it is said that the Marquis helped several men who had served in the war to become publicans, with their pubs then being named after him as a mark of respect. So grab yourself a piece of history! For further information contact Henry Boshier on 0113 880 0850.
